Katsucon 2027 Registration

Registration Overview

To attend any events or activities at Katsucon 2027, you must be a registered attendee of the convention with a valid attendee badge.

If you are a member of an anime club or similar organization, your group may be eligible to obtain additional convention registration savings. Please check out Group Registration below.

All badges purchased through January 3rd, 2027, will be shipped to attendees. Registrations completed after that date must be picked up onsite during Registration Hall hours. Badges must be worn and visible at all times to enter convention spaces and activities.

Attendees purchasing or picking up badges onsite must present a valid government-issued photo ID containing date of birth showing their date of birth. Accepted forms of ID include: 

  • Driver’s license
  • State-issued photo ID
  • US Government or Military ID card
  • US or foreign passport

Other forms of identification may be accepted at the discretion of the Katsucon Registration team. School IDs are only accepted where specifically noted in the rules below. 

Each attendee must be registered individually using their legal name as it appears on their photo ID. Attendees picking up badges onsite must be present to pick up their own badge. 

Mailed Registrations

Katsucon will mail badges to all pre-registered attendees within the continental United States as part of our standard registration process. International attendees are not eligible for badge shipping and will need to pick up their badges at the Registration Hall during posted operational hours.  

Badge mailing is automatically applied to U.S. registrations, there is no option to choose between mailing or on-site pickup. All pre-registrations through January 3rd, 2027 will be mailed several weeks prior to the convention with an assigned tracking number by the shipping company. Please review our FAQ page on badge mailing; we encourage attendees to check it periodically for the latest details throughout the year and refer to our official social media channels for the most up-to-date information. 

To help protect attendees and the integrity of the event, please be aware that counterfeit badges may be in circulation. Badges should only be purchased through the official Katsucon registration page on Eventeny. Badges obtained outside of official registration are not valid and will not be accepted for admission under any circumstances. 

Key Items to Note when Registering:

  • Please ensure the mailing address entered during registration is accurate and current. Temporary or incorrect addresses may result in non-delivery of your badge, and replacement badges must be purchased at the attendee’s expense.  
  • If your mailing address changes, updates must be made in the Katsucon Eventeny registration system no later than January 3rd, 2027.  
  • Registrations cannot be combined or consolidated for shipping purposes. 
  • Badge mailing is not available for group registrations or registrations with mailing addresses outside the continental United States. All affected badges must be picked up onsite. 
  • Once the badge mailing deadline has passed, mailed registrations are non-refundable. No exceptions will be made.  

Pre-Registration

Katsucon pre-registration is conducted exclusively online as part of our paperless registration process. 

Each person attending Katsucon must be registered individually using their legal name as it appears on their government-issued photo ID containing date of birth. All attendees are required to be present to pick up their own badges.

VIP Badges

The VIP program is currently under evaluation. Any updates regarding future offerings will be shared as they are finalized. 

Badge Rates Disclaimers

  • Children age 7 and under are admitted free with a paying adult. 
  • Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.  
  • Children age 13 – 17 are not required to be accompanied, but parental or guardian involvement during the convention is encouraged. 
  • Group registrations of ten (10) or more attendees in a single transaction are eligible for a discount of $5 per paid registration. See Group Registration for details prior to purchase. 
  • All attendees must present a government-issued photo ID containing date of birth at badge pickup. A printed copy of the badge purchase confirmation email is recommended for verification purposes. All attendees must be present in order to pick up their own badge.  
  • Pre-registered badges purchased after the mailing deadline may be picked up during Registration Hall operating hours (see schedule below). 

At-Door Registration

To ensure all attendees have access to the full convention experience, including evening programming and events, Katsucon offers weekend badges only. At-door registration pricing decreases each day of the convention as follows:

Because all badges are valid for the full convention weekend, discounted Saturday and Sunday arrival rates are only available for onsite purchases and cannot be purchased in advance.

Online pre-registration will remain available throughout the convention weekend at current at-door pricing rates. 

Registrations purchased after January 3rd, 2027, are NONREFUNDABLE. If you have any reason to believe that your travel plans may be cancelled, please wait until you arrive to make your purchase.  

All registrations purchased online are eligible for Thursday early badge pickup during the week of the event, as well as access to the faster pre-registration pickup lines Friday through Sunday.

Pre-registered badges may be purchased and picked up at any time during Registration Hall operating hours. 

Group Registration

If you are part of an anime club, organization, or just a group of friends or family, you may qualify for Katsucon’s Group Registration discount. Groups of ten (10) to fifteen (15) attendees receive a $5 discount per attendee off the pre-registration rate when registered on or before January 3rd, 2027. Group registration discounts are not available after January 3rd, 2027 and cannot be applied retroactively after purchase.  

All group registration badges must be picked up onsite and are not eligible for badge mailing. All attendees must present a government-issued photo ID containing date of birth at badge pickup. 

To request a group discount code, please email [email protected]. Include your group name and the first and last names of all attendees (listed exactly as they appear on a valid government-issued photo ID) who will be registering as part of the group. Once your discount code has been issued, registrations must be completed through the Katsucon Eventeny registration page. Confirmation emails will be sent upon successful registration. 

Important Notice

If refunds are issued for individuals registered under a group discount and the remaining group falls below the required minimum of ten (10) attendees, the group will no longer qualify for the discount. In such cases, the entire group registration will be refunded and a new group registration must be submitted at the applicable rate. 

Accessibility

Katsucon’s Disability Support Services (DSS) is available for attendees with mobility disabilities, blindness, significant hearing impairments, and other chronic medical conditions. To ensure appropriate accommodations can be provided, attendees are encouraged to communicate their needs in advance or as they arise during the event. 

Attendees who are pre-registered may use the expedited DSS registration line and will receive a wristband providing the following accommodations, as applicable: 

  • Elevator Assistance – priority access to elevators, including designated use of service elevators when available. 
  • Line Seating or Proxy Assistance – access to a chair while waiting in line when available, or the option to designate a proxy to hold your place in line. 
  • Priority Seating – seating close to the stage or front of the room for attendees with hearing or vision needs. 
  • Mobility Space Accommodation – additional space provided for mobility devices or service animals as needed.  
  • Assistant Attendees – Up to two assistants with valid purchased badges may accompany you in ADA-designated areas and elevators. Assistants may only access these accommodations while accompanying the registered attendee.

Accessibility F.A.Q

  • Katsucon does not provide or rent scooters, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids. 
  • Only service animals (dogs and miniature horses) are permitted within the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in accordance with venue policy. Emotional support animals are not permitted. Katsucon follows Gaylord National’s service animal policy. 
  • Medical bag checks are conducted by the First Aid team. This applies to small medically necessary bags permitted in restricted areas that contain needed medical supplies. For additional details, please refer to the Medical Necessity Bag Policy on the attendee policies page. 

Photo Identification 

All attendees age 13 and older are required to present a valid government-issued photo ID containing date of birth to pick up or purchase a registration. 

Attendees age 12 and under are exempt when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also registered for the convention and able to present valid ID. 

 Attendees age 13–17 may use a school-issued photo ID for the 2026/2027 school year, provided it includes the attendee’s legal name and a current photo. 

If a photo ID is not available, attendees age 13–17 may be verified by a parent or legal guardian who is present, registered for the convention, and able to confirm the attendee’s identity. 

Accepted forms of ID include: 

  • Driver’s license
  • State-issued photo ID
  • US Government or Military ID card
  • US or foreign passport

Note: If you or your child does not have a photo ID, you may be able to obtain one at a reasonable fee through your state’s Motor Vehicles office. If you have questions or require assistance, please contact us [email protected]. 

Badge Transfer Policy 

All badges are non-transferable. If you have pre-registered for Katsucon and are unable to attend, please contact our Katsucon Registration team to request a refund on or before January 3rd, 2027. Refund requests submitted after the deadline will not be honored. Please refer to the Refund Policies section below for more details.

Badge Replacement Policy 

If your badge is lost, please check both the convention Lost and Found and the hotel Lost and Found. If neither location has your badge, a replacement badge may be available for purchase at Registration at a reduced rate with proof of prior registration. Please show your photo ID and receipt to the Registration staff for prior purchase verification. Free badge replacements will not be issued. 

Please note that only badges purchased through the official Katsucon Eventeny registration page are valid for entry. Due to unauthorized third-party sales, counterfeit badges may be in circulation. Badges obtained outside of official registration are not valid and will not be accepted for admission under any circumstances. If you have any concerns regarding your badge, please check in with the Registration team on-site for support. 

Refund Policies 

While we hope everyone who expresses a desire to attend Katsucon has the opportunity to enjoy our convention experience, we understand that life sometimes interferes with travel plans. To that end, we will honor requests for refunds of pre-registration fees if they meet the following criteria: 

  • Refunds must be submitted by email to [email protected]. When requesting the refund, please include your name and the registration order number. If more than one attendee is included in the registration, please specify exactly which attendee should be refunded.  
  • Refunds must be requested by the original purchaser and will be issued back to the original method of payment. 
  • All refund requests must be submitted on or before January 3rd, 2027. Registrations purchased after January 3rd, 2027 are nonrefundable, and no exceptions will be made. This includes refund requests for mailed registrations.  
  • In the event Katsucon is delayed, rescheduled, or impacted by circumstances outside of the organization’s control, updated information and instructions will be communicated directly to pre-registered attendees. 
  • If refunds are issued for individuals registered under a group discount and the remaining group falls below the required minimum of ten (10) attendees, the group will no longer qualify for the discount. In such cases, the entire group registration will be refunded and a new group registration must be submitted at the applicable rate. 
  • Refunds submitted before the deadline will be processed within thirty (30) days of the request. If a refund has not been received after thirty (30) days, please contact [email protected]. 
  • Refunds may have fees deducted from the final amount as assessed by the payment processor. 
  • Donations are nonrefundable, as all donated funds are passed directly to charity. 
  • No refunds will be issued for at-door registrations. 
  • No refunds will be issued more than thirty (30) days after the conclusion of the event for any reason.

Filming Disclaimer

By attending Katsucon, you will be subject to the following agreement: 

I, [your name], acknowledge that photography and/or video recording may occur in public areas of Katsucon by authorized convention staff or affiliated production teams. By attending, I understand that I may appear in such recordings and consent to their use by Katsucon and its affiliates for promotional, archival, or informational purposes, without expectation of compensation or acknowledgement. If I do not wish to be included in recordings where reasonably avoidable, I understand I may notify nearby production staff at the time. Any questions or concerns may be directed to on-site production personnel.
