Charity Auction

Benefiting the American Cancer Society, the charity auction has been one of the most successful events in Katsucon history. The American Cancer Society and its funding arm, Relay for Life focus on research for a cure and the support of the survivors and their families left behind. This year, a portion of our proceeds will go to benefit Doctors Without Borders in support of the recovery efforts in Haiti. No donation is too weird or too small! The auction will take place Sunday morning at 11am. Visit our table in the Dealers Room with questions or for more information.

Art Show

The Katsucon Art Show is a showcase for two dimensional and three dimensional anime-oriented works by professional and amateur artists. For attendees, it provides an opportunity to see the artwork up close. For artists, it provides an opportunity for self-promotion and sales of artwork through the Katsucon Art Auction.

Yes, some of the artwork on display will be for sale! We have an on-going art auction that lasts the whole weekend where attendees can bid on artwork that is for sale, in hope of being the high bidder and taking the artwork home. Any piece of artwork with four bids at the time that the Art Show closes on Saturday will go to the “Live Auction” Saturday night following the Cosplay. Any piece with one, two, or three bids is sold to the high bidder at the bid price Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

Katsucon Artist Areas (formerly Artist Alley)

Katsucon is proud to announce that with our new facility we have restructured what was formerly referred to as Artist Alley into the newly formed Katsucon Artist Areas! Read more about the new Areas here! Application coming soon.

Manga Library

Katsucon welcomes AnimeNEXT’s Manga Library! The Library has proven so popular wherever it travels, we really wanted to bring it to Katsucon. And so this year we have invited them to join us, now that we finally have enough function space for them. Be sure to stop by, see the collection and read a few books!

Merchants Room

All Otaku have one goal in life… find that one perfect thing for their anime collection, be it a DVD, a model, a CD, or a plushie. Fortunately, the merchants in the Katsucon 16 Merchant Room want to help you out by providing a wide variety of anime and manga themed merchandise to drool over peruse and purchase. See below for a map of the Merchant Room so you can get a jump on your buddies figuring out how best to spend that hard earned cash!
