Join us for a celebration of fashion during Katsucon 2026 with our Indie Designer Fashion Show featuring a variety of styles from local designers including Lolita Fashion, Fairy Kei, Mahou Shoujo Kei, Ouji, and popular of the ‘cores’ and ‘aesthetics’!
We’ll have informative and entertaining panels, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to socialize, and the return of the J Fashion Try-On. There is so much to do whether you’re a seasoned J-Fashion enthusiast or just getting started.
Come meet the local community, make new friends, and learn something new!
J Fashion Try-On
The local DMV Lolita community has come together and gathered a collection of Lolita garments to help newbies see things up close, ask questions, and even try on an outfit! We’ll have a backdrop for pictures, a place to hang out and ask questions, and a variety of sizes from US Women’s 2 – US Women’s 26.
If you’re interested in doing the Try-on, please sign up (link coming soon), and arrive in a tight-fitting t-shirt and shorts/bloomers to wear under the dresses (armpits and butts must be covered). No body paint. Garments are disinfected between uses.
