Booking Your Photo Session
To ensure you get the perfect photoshoot experience, we offer 30-minute time slots that you can reserve in advance.
- How to secure your spot:
A deposit is required to book your session. This helps us manage scheduling and keep things running smoothly.
- First come, first serve:
Time slots are limited and booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. So don’t wait too long to reserve!
- What if I want to change my time?
We understand plans can change. Please come to the Photo Suite Front Desk in the Merchant Hall as soon as possible if you need to reschedule, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Photo Suite FAQs
1. Can multiple people be included in one shoot?
Yes! We can accommodate groups of up to 6 people per shot. All parties must be present, or your place in line will shift until everyone arrives.
2. Are costume changes allowed during a shoot?
Not at this time.
We don’t have private changing spaces inside Merchant’s Hall, so full costume changes on site aren’t possible.
Since Photo Suite runs all weekend, you can get photos taken in one cosplay, head back to your room to change, then return for another shoot in a different cosplay. You can do this multiple times and purchase all your photos together on Sunday. Just make sure you come back before we close at 12 PM!
If you’d like a guaranteed time for a later session, we recommend reserving a 30-minute time slot with a deposit. Time Slots are limited and first come, first serve.
3. How many photos are included in a shoot?
It varies! Depending on the number of poses, props, and how familiar your photographer is with your character, a typical session might yield:
- 5–15 great shots for solo cosplayers or smaller setups
- 20–50+ photos for larger groups or more elaborate scenes
We’re happy to capture whatever you want!
4. Are the photos included on the USB stick part of the package?
Yes! The photos included in each package are delivered on the custom Katsucon USB stick, so you get easy, convenient access to your images.
5. How do I reserve a photoshoot time?
You can secure a 30-minute time slot by placing a deposit. Time slots are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking early to get your preferred time. If you need to reschedule, please contact the Photo Suite Front Desk as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
