Welcome!

We are happy to announce the opening of the 2021 Katsucon Merchant Hall Application on August 5, 2020! The application will remain open until August 31, 2020.

There will be new guidelines in place that will help ensure the safety of vendors, staff, volunteers, and our attendees. The three major differences for 2021 Merchants Hall will be the floorplan and the type of tables available. We will be in a combined room with the Artist Alley and the air-wall will be open.

Our guidelines include different layout requirements, which means that we will have less booths available. We will only have single booths available in order to increase opportunity for maximum participation. Please note that if safety conditions change, we will adjust accordingly with as much notice as possible.

Each Vendor will only be allowed to purchase one (1) booth space. Each booth space is 12ft x 12ft and can hold a maximum of two tables 6ft x 2.5ft tables. Each booth space comes with three free (3) badges. Up to three (3) additional badges may be purchased for the booth space at $55 each. Badges are non-transferable. Only those persons wearing an Exhibitor badge can sit in the booths. Helpers /Assistants must have an Exhibitor badge. Cost per Booth is $900.00. (Electrical, internet and telephone service are available from the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center for a fee.)

Merchants Hall Helpful Hints

  • All Exhibitors if you are selling anything you must display and submit a Maryland sales affidavit.
  • Food Sales are not permitted, i.e. sodas, candy or other edible items.
  • Raffles of any kind are prohibited, unless all conditions are met as outlined in the exhibitor packet.

  • Weapons (except for foam, wood, or prop weapons) may not be sold.
  • Fan Art (i.e. Unlicensed Character Rips, Logo Rips, etc.) in the form of Prints, Posters, Buttons, etc. No unlicensed item for which there is a licensed counterpart shall be sold.
  • No self-adhesive stickers, vinyl decals, or items with an adhesive side (including “tape”) may be sold or distributed. Please do not bring or display them.
  • Maryland law prohibits selling or dispensing contact lenses, including decorative lenses, without a valid and unexpired prescription.
  • Wi-Fi and electricity are available for purchase through the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center (GNRCC).

Hours of operation are subject to change. Vendors are not permitted to enter the Exhibit Hall outside of these hours for any reason. The hall will not be available to any vendor before 3:00pm on Thursday. Early entry is not permitted.
