Entering the Gaylord National
Due to the large number of attendees, and the other events in-house along with us, the Gaylord has kindly arranged specific entrances for us to use. Please follow the guidelines below for the easiest entry into the hotel.
- There are two entrances on the back side of the hotel across from the parking garage.
- The Maryland entrance goes to the ballrooms, which the other group is using. We are not to use that entrance at all.
- The Woodrow Wilson entrance is the one next to the room where we had the Dead Dog meeting in March (who could forget that?).
- This entrance will be secured Thursday evening and Friday morning for a VIP speaker.
- But after 2pm on Friday, and for the rest of the weekend, our attendees can use that entrance to come in from the parking garage.
Thank you!
Bell Cart Usage
Please note: while the Gaylord will be heavily staffed in order to assist people as they arrive, they will not have bell carts available for attendees to use to move their own items through the hotel (bell carts are not allowed in the main hotel area, they are used only by the Gaylord staff and move through the back service areas).
Also: if anyone needs anything moved throughout the weekend from their sleeping room to the meeting space there is a $25 per cart charge which will be charged to the sleeping room or the individual will need to pay in cash.
